TO LOOK DEEPLY INTO MY DARK BROWN EYES

Blindness, not being able to see, squinting of one's eyes in the sun, getting old and losing one's vision, medical science curing blindness with eye implants, eye pressure too high called glaucoma, pain in the eye, soothing eye drops with side effects of depression and lethargy, laser surgery like a magic wand to stop the eye from getting an infusion of light, too much computer screen light, brightness that impairs vision, fluorescent lights glaring and blaring. Wearing eyeglasses, plastic lenses that scratch, getting bifocals, trifocals, and on and on.

The miracle of medical science, G-d gave sight to the blind and He cured the lepers from their skin disease, He raised the dead from dying.

Perfect eye sight, no eye pains, no trouble seeing, regular eye doctor visits, beating the trouble with healthy eye care. Being good to one's eyes, looking at the beautiful not the ugly. Closing one's eyes in rest in an afternoon nap. Not forcing your eyes to stay open longer than they can, blinking to wet the eyeball with tears, not over-tiring yourself and your eyes, reading but not so much so that your eyes rebel.

Having bright eyes, cheery eyes, happy eyes, eyes that do not intrude on other's spaces, eyes of deep brown pools of gorgeousness, eyes that see and eyes that show compassion towards others' afflictions.

Winking with one eye to show affection, to catch someone's attention, showing understanding through the eyes with a good attention span, winning staring wars, averting one's eyes not to challenge, smiling eyes that welcome others' eyes to smile back at you.

Using one's eyes to perceive beautiful colors and to create lovely crafts. Training one's eyes to see the minutest detail, having vision and hand coordination to create a work of art.

Loving one's own eyes, loving others' eyes, showing love with your eyes as you look deeply into another's eyes.

Seeing is believing. But to know that things exist that we cannot see. To be able to perceive with an imagination and not to must see it. To not to see G-d but to know He exists. To pray to G-d in thanks of our eyes, to ask G-d for help to keep our eyes healthy.
