GOD AS HEALER OF ILLNESSES

"For I am G-d your healer." [Torah]

Feeling like you are ill and in need of help, but what you need to cure your ills is not a medicine or a concoction? Want to trust it all to your doctor but tell your ills to your hairdresser instead? Knowing it is not a flu syrup that will cure your common cold? Having the knowledge that the side effects of most medicines cause you to feel worse after taking the medicine than you were before you took it. Hearing of deaths in the family and of your friends and wondering why G-d took them from you. Deciding yourself if your own choice is to live and not to die. Having a choice to be happy instead of sad, not letting upsets cause you an illness. Living through and despite an illness and constantly treating it so it does not get out of hand. Not allowing bad happenings to increase your illness because they increase stress.

If G-d is your healer, then the message to keep healthy is as written in His book The Torah, The Prophets and The Writings. If you read "the Bible" will it cure your illness? How can G-d cure your illnesses? We cannot even see G-d, how is something we cannot see able to be our doctor?

G-d is all about choosing life over death, and a quality life over a life going nowhere. Not indulging in competition or coveting will significantly lower your stress as coveting increases stress and stress increases illness.

What if you are in a relationship where the other person constantly covets? It can be them who do the coveting and them who break the Commandment and you must continue to not indulge in this 2 way battle. You cannot change another and complaining about him just makes it worse.

Solution? Let him continue to covet but you do not. His coveting should not be a reason for you to covet. And his coveting should not be a reason for you to give up what you have to stop him from coveting it. Know that G-d is controlling your speech and actions but not his. Do not do as he does. G-d forbids coveting and this is a Commandment. If someone covets you, do not indulge in coveting anyone just because you feel the pain of being coveted by another. You cannot control the amount of pain others inflict on themselves, but you can control the pain you inflict on yourself.

Ask G-d to heal you, do not covet, do not bark just because all the other dogs are barking. Choose aloneness if this be the case, in following the Commandments, and reap the benefits. Do not get sick just because someone else is sick. Do not choose to covet, no matter how much and how often others choose to covet you.

G-d is indeed your healer, study and obey Torah and sip it with a cup of hot tea, let G-d give you the choices and then for you to make the right ones.
